Waited till the frost was off the road and headed out to Lincoln Sunday morning. Launched at 9:30 and headed to Sterling Point to start the day. Lines in @ 10:00 running 4 leaded with rippin minnows and flies. Caught the first 'bow at 10:15 and it was non stop action from there. Most of the fish were running 15-1/2 to 17" and we weren't lucky enough to pick up a carry-over. 9 of the 10 we caught had their adipose fin clipped so I'm thinking net pen fish. Lost 3 or 4 and put the last fish in the boat at 12:15 PM. The hottest bait was a bright orange and gold fly tipped with a worm and Graybill's bait juice and leaded line out 3 colors. The rippin minnow did get a couple but the flies worked the best. Got home in time to see the Hawks kick the Cardinals butts. Keep your hooks sharp and the lines tight.
Landshark Out.

Sounds like you guys had a fun morning and successful too. Did the orange and gold fly have a trailing treble hook also? Thanks for the report.
