Had some out of state friends come up for Christmas and wanted to go fishing so we headed for Roosevelt this morn. Launched at Lincoln about 9:00 and headed for sterling point lines in the water 9:20 set speed 2.0 - 2.3 with 1 leaded line 4 colors orange kekeda 2 lines on down rigger 1 with perch kekeda and 1 with pink kekeda and 1 long line out the back with rippin minnow. Trolled around couldn't seem to find fish, finally got one on leaded line went down below the point and over by the rock wall and started back up stream slowed speed down to 1.8 and got some action.... 6 fish on first pass so turned around an went back, fished back an forth along rock wall about as close as we could safely get. No action on long line so pulled it in and put out another leaded line with orange kekeda, the 2 leaded lines accounted for 15 fish the down rigger pink kekeda took the rest, nothing on perch colored fly for us today, only had 2 fish 19" the rest 16", limits by 2:15, 20 fish. Weather was cloudy and breezy 36 degrees, water temp 40. We did get to watch the big horn sheep they were on the rocks rite close to the water :-).......another GREAT DAY on Roosevelt!!!
