This my first report and right off I would like to thank everyone else that has posted. Your reports have helped me get off to a good start to a new type of fishing for me. In the past I have just fished small streams for the most part and a few small lakes from a canoe.
We left the Spokane valley just after 7 AM and launched at Lincoln just after 8:30 AM. Had some self inflicted problems with the big motor on my new 1993 16ft SeaRunner so we started trolling right away. Didn't get a strike until we got down to Sterling Point and then we only got hits in one spot so it was a bit slow. We managed to get 6 bows and 1 nice Koke but it took awhile getting it done. Had the most hits on a orange Apex behind a small dodger but I put one more in the boat including the Kokanne with my brand new orange Kekeda fly that I ordered as a result of these reports so thanks again. Should also thank the boys at the White Elephant for some good tips.
Even though we had a little motor problem and the bite was a bit slow it was a GOOD DAY ON THE WATER.
