Day one of a 2 day fishing trip with brother Mike from the west side of WA to fish Lake Roosevelt for kokanee, rainbow trout and walleye. First day was out of Spring Canyon fishing for kokes and bows. Fat bow right off the bat on pink kedata fly fished on the surface then dead for 2 hours. Switched up to some crazy looking lures called wee tads and easily caught our kokes and a couple more bow's. Special day since it was the first time meeting brother Mike.

curious what a wee tad is and if you caught koks toward surface or running down rigger

Thanks

Cueballdg, google is your friend. Looks to be a mini version of a tomic plug for salmon. Great report and some nice looking fish.

Hunter757 is correct it's a Lil plug that drives em crazy or at least entices a strike when the bites slow. Fished surface for the kokes over deep water.
