3/15/2015 10:39:00 AMHi dharris - Glad to hear you finally were able to get out and catch some of those nice bowes. We went to CDA Lake yesterday to TRY for some of those famous Chinook. Got a lesson in how not to catch them! The wind blew and we got rained on hard; glad we could stay inside the top and let it howl.

3/15/2015 1:53:00 PMSounds like a productive day for the rainbows. It's a fun day when the rain is coming down and you only have to jump out and reel in a fish. The rain never seems as bad when the fish are biting. Glad you had a fun day. Thanks for sharing the report. -Dave

3/16/2015 9:39:00 AMI'm happy to hear more reports fishing is picking up again above Keller Ferry. Curious if you found any particular color pattern better than another. I might, just maybe, be able to slip away next week to finally wet a line again. Thanks for the promising report!

3/17/2015 10:30:00 AMInteresting post and great report. About 2 week ago I had the same results up the Spokane Arm, slow walleye so fished the mouth and bays up river for trout. This week I'd like to do the same and going to try running side planers for trout while bottom walking for WE. Speed will be a factor but figure flatfish will be fine at slow speeds for the trout. Do you mind sharing where you caught your trout? Also, FYI - while trout fishing has really slowed down river, kokanee fishing is real hot for the little guys. Not many anglers know but starting last year the Spokane Tribal hatchery program began releasing 60,000 rainbow trout averaging 1 pound each up at Little Falls to enhance the trout fishery in the Spokane Arm and increase local angler harvest ability. Sounds like these fish are taking off and are on the average larger than the net pen releases...Why? - They're the same fish that get transferred to the net pens but grow better at the hatchery through the winter due to warmer well water than river water. I'm hoping these releases or at least part of them residualize/stay in the Spokane Arm. Sound like they may be. Perhaps this would better info to add to a forum
