The wife and I launched at Keller and had lines in the water by 9am. Started at Swawilla and stayed there. Started off with Orange kekeda with orange /black tiger stripe smiley blade on one rigger, pink hootchie on the other rigger, and on top with the perch kekeda 150' back. Had worms on the flies and corn with the hootchie. Started marking fish right away from 25 to 50' in various depths of water. 40' seemed to be where we were picking up the fish. Ended up with 6 bows from 17 to 20" all caught on the orange kekeda. Caught 4 Kok's one 14" and the 3 others were 16".
All the fish hit hard and released off the clips. Was not bothered by the small net pen fish at all. Saw them jumping but they were not down deeper. Had 4 very hard hits screaming line and pulling off before I could get to the rods. Two on the kekeda and the other 2 on the hootchie. The surface line did not have a hit so I reeled it in and got it out of the way. It would have been interesting to have gotten a look at those 4 that hit hard but oh well.
Quit at 1 after the last kok and headed in. The water temp was from 63 to 65 degrees and most of the day the surface was glass.
