7/31/2015 9:22:00 AMWay to go Alan and Ron! I know what you mean, 'tis a long drive for two kokanee, but what great fish they are. Read in yesterday's S-R that some fin clipped kokes are showing up in the Spring Canyon area, first I've heard of that. The little 12" 'bows are a nuisance right now, and I send any we catch back to get bigger for fall/winter fishing. :-)

8/1/2015 7:49:00 AMGreat report and I can't wait to fish Rosevelt. I've been preparing for the trip for years but just can't seem to get there. Every time we plan a Lake Rosevelt trip, something happens to derail the plan at the last minute. I think that 2 or 3 days on the big lake in the winter is one of the dream trips on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.

8/2/2015 6:26:00 AMDon't need an excuse to enjoy our (normally) good winter fishery. I just hope this year's wacky weather doesn't impact fall/winter fishing. We could have a mini NWFR get together on the East side.. :-)
