Long time friend Jim Ferguson came over from Vancouver and we targeted Kokanee out of Lincoln near Sterling Point on Thursday and Friday. Got a late start on Thursday and didn't get our lines in until 1 PM but still managed 4 nice Kokes by 4:30 or so. Friday we started at 9 AM and had our Kokes by 12. Got some trout and a couple of small mouth as a bonus, none that were very impressive. The Kokanee were mostly 15-17 but very deep and made some nice fillets.
The Arrow Half-Fast pink flasher with a P-Line Geisha Squidder seemed to be the hot ticket accounting for 7 of our 8 Kokanee. A pink Kekeda got the other one and most of the trout. It was HOT but still a good way to spend the day. On Friday we saw a Bighorn ram right on the beach and then a herd of ewes and lambs on the drive out. A nice little bonus for sure.

Caught the Kokanee around 50 f t for the most part. Deeper water the first day and then moved into the 70 - 90 f t area the second and did a little better.
