Drano Lake was very good this weekend! We picked up 7 great, up river bright, Chinook on Saturday and 12 on Sunday - averaging about a 50% bite to catch ratio. Using super baits (in Tamali and Mtn Dew colors) behind pro troll flashers and fish flash seemed to give us the most action, and we used tuna with salmon scent mixed with sand shrimp scent, both by Northwest Bait and Scent. We also picked up a few fish with #5 Toman spinners, soaked in damon scent, and magpies wrapped with tuna. The majority of fish were between 15ft and 20ft deep, trolling at 1.6 to 2.2 mph. We have lots of season left, and it's definitely starting out hot!!
