What a great day brother Terry ( two brothers fishing ) and I had fishing out of Porcupine Bay this Wednesday. The weather was great and the fishing was good. Started at daylight " with fish on " right away, then about noon it just went dead, with two more fish to limit we had to work hard to get it done. We were using muddler minnows that we set up with colored beads and silver spinners along with sling blades. We also tried for walleye but only caught our last two rainbow, so called it and headed back to launch. The fish we caught were absolute hogs.

1 -- 22" ( at 4 lbs )
3 -- 20"
2 -- 19"
2 -- 17"
2 -- 14"

Two Bros. #1:
Wow what beautiful fish! Way to go. I hope to be over there around Thanksgiving for about 4 days, but have never fished it before. I was wondering where Porcupine Bay launch might be? I was thinking it was somewhere up the Spokane Arm area, but not sure. I'd like to give it a try when we are there for sure. I also plan to fish out of Lincoln area too. Hopefully the fish will be cooperative when we're there. Tight lines to ya.

Beautiful Rainbows like that are why I am definitely moving east when I retire. Just don't get quality fish like that this side of the hill.

Outstanding fish! Those are definitely the kind of fish we're all after. Great job getting on them and convincing them to bite. That is a ton of fillets! Thanks for the report.

Soooo good to see you two made it out. Those are the hogs you have always spoke of for this time of year. Must have been nearly the biggest fish you ever had on... I hope to get the boat out this weekend.

Nice catch!
How deep were you getting bites? Were you using lead line or downriggers?

Great job guys! I read in Thursday's paper bigger 'bows were being reported from Porcupine Bay. I thought we'd give it a shot Friday but winds kept us ashore, and with no change by mid-morning, we decided to end our week long stay a day early. T-shirt weather in October, got to love that. :-)
