The wife and I drove down to Keller and launched around 10 AM. About 5 minutes after I got the first line down I had a nice chucky 17" in the boat. After that it got a little slower but we were getting just enough bites that made it hard to move to another spot. We started along the cliff wall on the south side of the river just East of the Ferry and trolled up to Hanson Harbor and back but eventually moved to the north side of the river by that bay just east of the Sand Poil. Picked one up crossing the Sand Poil near the western buoy. Put 9 rainbow in the boat, nothing over 18", the really big ones seem to slip by me. All fish were caught using my latest delivery of Kekeda flies, most on Orange but some on a Pink one I kept out there on a leaded line with a flasher hoping for a Kokanee. Seems like 1.8 to 2.1mph produced the most strikes. We were probably running 10 to 12 feet down. Had a real nice day on the water with the wife.
