Launched at the Lincoln launch and headed for Hawk creek. Had lines in the water by 8:30. Made 2 circles in there as far up as you can fish and still get turned around with 200 feet of line out and only landed 3. So we packed up and headed for Sterling point. Was letting the first rod out and hooked 1. Landed that 1 and just got all the lines in and hooked triples. Somehow we managed to land all 3 with only 2 nets. So we got all the lines back in and hooked doubles! We finished the day with our 20 trout and 5 kokanee. 2 of the trout were 18 in. and 2 of the kokanee were 17 in. The water temp was 43.7 degrees.
We were fishing 3 RC flies and a pink hoochie all behind dodgers. All were baited with corn. Our trolling speed was 1.5 to 1.9 mph. We fished back and forth along the North bank. It didn't really seem to matter where just down to the sign and the turn around and fished back up about a half mile. What a nice day to be out on lake Roosevelt. Thanks to everyone who reports.
