Braved the cold and hit the water at Keller. The road and launch were both in great shape so we were able to have lines in the water by 8:00 AM. The bites came fairly steady until around 11:00 when it became sporadic but still worth the effort. We ended up with only 3 Kokes and 7 very nice trout by then which was a bit disappointing since we were targeting the Kokanee. Just when were starting thinking that the trip was winding down we hit a double on healthy 18 inchers which left us just one shy. We lasted another 45 minutes which yielded a couple more C & R smaller trout but could not find that last koke. Pink hoochies, red smiley blade, and cured corn was the ticket. It was a great and beautiful day even with the cold and I just want to say that I love my Buddy Heater!
