Got a late start this morning but had lines in the water at 10:10 and 40 minutes later we had four Kok's. Two of them were only 17" so we flipped them off and tried for some bigger ones. Released a couple bows and kept our last 2 kok's and back at the dock by 12. Biggest was a little over 19"s all others 18"s. Pink Kekeda fly caught most of them no dodger at about 7' deep. The others on a hootchie with the corn at 14' deep in 30 to 70 FOW again. Had corn on the fly also. Launched at Keller and went up river. Again 1.7 was the best mph.

Widebear,
glad to here someone did good, they sure weren't biting for me down at Spring Canyon. I should have stuck with it there. Other than the drive down I like the Keller area a lot better than Spring Canyon. Didn't find a Case fillet knife down there did you?

No knife, I'll ask some locals if they found any. When did you leave it?

Thanks Widebear,
It must have fallen out of my pocket around 5 PM Thursday when we were loading things up. If the water would have been smoother on Friday I might have run up from SC but my 16 ft SeaRunner can beat an old man up when the water was like it was on Friday morning.
