Wow! what a day at Roosevelt. Its not too often its 40 degrees and sunny in Feburary.

4 of us on the boat today launched at Keller and headed up river. It was nice to be greeted by large groups of Kokanee breaking the surface giving away their location. Since the lake was smooth I thought it unlikely that these jumpers were kokes, but kokes they were. They didn't seem too picky. One even grabbed a flicker shad in rainbow. Three loops later we boated our 8 kokes. THese fish are awesome and are big. 16-20"
