Hit the Keller launch this morning about 7:30 with a couple partners from out of town. Started out upriver and hit a nice fish immediately but it came unbuttoned at the boat. There were around a 1/2 dozen boats in the area and we saw just one small fish boated over the next 3 hours. Just as we were thinking about moving we netted a nice 18" koke so we stuck around for another hour with just one "drive by" bite. We headed downriver to check it out there and was rewarded with another good bite over the next hour and a half.

Decided to call it a day and loaded the boat. There was a checker at the dock when we came in who let me know that she had spoke with 5 boats so far with zero fish so I guess we were lucky. 3 more boats came in while we were cinching down and she was able to check one more fish - a 15" trout :( Water level has really dropped over the last few days so that may have something to do with our struggles. Oh well, still better than being at work!
