Was able to get out fishing with my son on Saturday & Sunday for some Kokanee out of Keller Ferry, started fishing around 7:30, went up River to the Hanson Harbor area. Fished pink hootchies behind Sling Blade Dodger with white corn & maggots at 10 feet and Hand Tied Pink Flies with pink glass beads and another Pink Fly with a pink glow bead all flies dipped in Kokanee and Sockeye Sauce had 4 Kokanee in the boat by 9:30 and headed back to camp, Sunday bright and early fished up river again lines in water at 7:30 no bites until 8:30 and it was unbelievable got a triple using same as above and got all three in the boat, got the forth one about 30 minutes later done by 9:00 and headed for the launch and home. I do have lots of pictures but do not know how to post them, This is my first post and I thank all you for the information to fish for these amazing fish. Tight Lines and keep" Reelin"!

Thanks for the good report. Glad you found them, it seems to be hit and miss right now. How deep of water were you in?
If you get your pictures on your computer you can browse to them then I think you have hit the upload button. Just give it a try you can't hurt anything. Glad you are on board I learn something from everyone that posts.

Part-Time we saw a lot of boats trolling close to shore but saw the Kokanee surfacing out towards the middle, when we finally got out to where we hit our fish it was 110-114 feet deep when we hit that triple one line had 80ft mono leader and 1 1/2 colors of leaded line out another was set at 10ft and another at 7ft on the downriggers, we even hit two fish the day before while letting our lines out behind the boat before we could get them in the downrigger, that told me they were very close to the surface, trolling speed was 1.5-1.6.

Thanks for the comeback. Sounds pretty similar to the way I try to run, it just wasn't working for me on Thursday at all. Stay after them, it's the right thing to do.
