"Steve" and I, went fishing out of Keller's Ferry launch area, started fishing for kokanee around 8:00 and landed our first Kok 15 mins later. Weather was great on Friday, and fishing was very good. 8:35 we landed number two kok, next bite was a rainbow. Hooked two more koks and lost them at the back of the boat. Around 11:15 we hook a pair of koks and landed them. Using apex and flies with maggots ,10'-12' down off of planner boards and down riggers. Trolling speed 1.5 and lines were 175' back. Kokanee sizes were 19", water level is down almost 30' (1261). Good luck to you and hope this helps. Red was the best color for the day. Water temp around 40 degrees.
