Thought I would beat the wind and rain and glad I did. Fishing by 8 and done at 9. Two of us Released 2 and lost 3 or 4 before we kept our 4 nice Kok's. Above Keller again using the Hootchies and corn. 10 to 12' deep and they were hungry.
I didn't take any pics today, sorry about that.

love your reports. I was suppose to be there this weekend but my fair weather friends canceled on me.
I have been looking at kokanee down rigger rods and was wondering what you use?

heading up there in a few days to hopefully catch kokanee for the first time. Is it worth trying around 7 bays/hawk creek area, or better to go out of keller?

Lamiglass tournament kokanee rods are by far the best I have found, They are white with red wrap and 15 eyes on 8'2" rod. They make a red one also and I think it is to much like a noodle. The white ones have enough butt to control a fish when they get to the boat.

I don't know about Seven Bays area. Nobody is making any reports from up there. I had one guy tell me that his walleye fishing buddy caught some at the mouth of Spokane. They are catching them from the Goat Farm to the Dam is all I know.

Thanks for the rod info, I will look into them. I heard the red one's where noodley. I will be there next Saturday, even if I have to run solo.

Sorry for such a dumb question but I'm new to the area. How far is 7 bays from Keller feller by car?

Woodcutter. If you want a partner I will go with you. Im off and was thinking about dragging my boat over as well. Could be a good day and less expensive if we met up

Turn right after leaving marina and go 3 or so miles until you see the houses on the south beach.

Is running a 3 inch seps flasher and running a rapala a couple feet in back of it. Is that too much? Or should I just run a rooster tail behind it? Oh btw I can either fish lead core or mono. Please help a new fisherman out. Thanks ahead for your replies

It's about 18 miles. How fast is your boat?

I made the run to Spring Canyon from Keller Ferry yesterday, 30 minutes at 35mph. Made the run from Spring Canyon to Seven Bays in 55mins at 35mph cruise. Perfect water conditions for that run yesterday. :-)
