Well had a chance to get and do some fishin on Sunday for those Amazing Kokanee in Roosevelt. Launched at Keller at 7:30 and headed up river, lines in the water at 8. One rod 3 colors leaded and Orange Hand tied fly I call the (Rapala) fly baited with maggots, corn and sauce in water for 5min Kaa-Pow-ee fish on, 19 inches chrome bright in the boat, then nothing for next hour, What is up with that? Next fish came on 5 colors of leaded with Rapala fly baited 19 1/2 inches and it went airborne 4 times before we got it in the net, again nothing for the next hour and this time it was the downrigger at 15ft orange fly baited when fighting my fish looked to my left and another fish is jumping out of the water 100ft back it was then we realized we had a double, got both in the net 19 & 18 inches. Cleaned up everything took some pictures and headed for launch done around 11:30. Another amazing trip weather totally sunny and beautiful. "Tight Lines and Keep Reelin"

Matches what we experienced last week, I really believe you need to have lines in the water at daybreak. I see you've got the best trolling speed indicator on the market - key to success IMO. :-)

Thanks hewesfisher, best 35 dollars I ever spent, at least that is what it cost back when I bought the Luhr Jensen speed troll several years back, you never have to worry about it working and I to think you are so right in having your lines in the water at daybreak. Please Forgive me, if I may ask what does "IMO" mean?

Thanks for the great report, those Kokanee are beautiful. You must be doing everything right to get a double hookup.
