Our Columbia River Spring Chinook season has kicked back into high gear. We started this week fishing near John Day Dam on the Columbia River. Yesterday was our first official trip and we had a fantastic day. We landed 4 great springers and lost a few others in total going 4-7. All our bites yesterday came on bait wrapped Kwickfish fished in 20 feet of water on anchor. This is a fabulous fishery that really avoids the stress of the other well know places in the Columbia River Gorge.
I have a few dates i would like to get filled for this quick fishery. I have openings on Saturday 4/30 for 2 people, Tuesday 5/3 for up to 4 people, Wednesday 5/4 up to 6 people, Thursday 5/5 up to 6 people, Friday 5/6 up to 6 people. I can fish a total of 6 people in this fishery, but if you book at least 4 seats the boat is entirely yours.
This season is set to close on the 6th of May so get in on the action while its hot! Give me a call at 208-861-0654 to book your spot.
