Guests and I spent another beautiful day at Roosevelt mining silver. Have I mentioned I really like fishing for these kokanee? Every fish that is landed is greeted with ooohs, and aaahs. This fishery has continued to be a lot of fun. From the moment the rod doubles over till the fish succumb to the net, these fish are just a hoot.

We landed our kokes fairly quickly this morning. Largest one measured 21" and weighed 3.25 pounds. After catching our kokes we targeted rainbows with marginal success. Overall today was another awesome day to be on Roosevelt.

Kokanee Crash Course $125 pp.
I am looking to put on a couple of on-the-water kokanee seminars/clinics. If this is something you would be interested in please PM or call me and let me know. Location will be at Lake Roosevlet out of either Spring Canyon or Keller Ferry. Maximum of 4 persons per session.

Wow, those are some very nice fish! I really wish this lake was closer. Are you starting to catch fish without the adipose fin now?
