Got out at spring canyon about 6:15 lines in first fish at boat side 10 minutes later and lost it. Thought no big deal right... not so much as another kokanee bite all morning. Did catch a few small mouth bouncing a jig but that's it. Had a great time with the wife and kids.

A friend and I went friday and had results very similar to yours. I'm assuming the silvers moved up river/lake. I noticed the water has come up about 10 ft. Maybe this has thrown off bite around SC....? Or maybe just wasn't holding my lip right <0(0000<<

We're you marking many fish?

Yes lots of fish marked. Think the water level and low pressure moved in over night effected the bite. Will be back!

Bent hook: I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head as far as the raising water level, and lowering barometric pressure are concerned. Both have affected fishing success for me over the years.
