We launched from Keller at 7am and headed upriver in search of those silver Monstas. We motored up almost to White Rock and fished our way south. Jones Bay offered no bites. Continuing downriver, we had the same results around Hanson Harbor and even 2 miles up the San Poil. We stayed at the mouth to fish several marks, and noticed no one catching fish. We continued searching for biters downriver of Keller along the sand banks and the cliffs with much the same results. We finished up in the Swawilla Basin till late in the afternoon with zero bites for the day.
We were checked by the biologist at the docks and she recorded zero fish for the day, as of our arrival.
I have fished this area for the past 6 months, it's defiantly tapered off.
Conclusions......Although we marked fish, there is now plenty of plankton for these fish to feed on. They are disbursed throughout the lake, no longer concentrated into a small area.
Please correct me, if you believe my assumptions are incorrect.
