There are chinook to be caught on the Hanford reach! I was on the water at 5:00 this morning and had my super baits in the water shortly thereafter. It was shaping up to be another good morning on the river with the first fish caught on an original style blue and chrome superbait and clear pro troll flasher at 5:45. Unfortunately that was the end of our short trip due to difficulties with the kicker motor, but we will be back out as soon as we get it going again in a few days! These fish are great practice for the big fall run without the crowd on the river or at the boat launch! We still have a few days left in September and a few in October for fall chinook.
