Well got to post my report good bad or indifferent. I hope i got this in the right location. We worked from below rock island dam. Started out leaving Okanogan at 4 am. I'm not a early bird so I really need to WANT to be going some wear sweet to be up this early. But this is a bucket list fish and my friend has been doing this for years. Friend is driving and pulling his boat. Beautiful sunrise. Pull into cresent bar boat launch at about 6 am. Crash bang! I look back and see a tire bounce past. We pull in at the boat launch and lose the tire. Not the tire falls off after we launch the boat. It's 6 am. Long story it's 9 before we get our lines out. Got a couple bites early on then hours of nothing. We started just below the dam. Worked our way down from there. Focused on 40-50 FOW. Well a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. Hey Bent hook pontoon, I've had a similar trip when I was going to the Lower Columbia. Try looking for holes deeper than 100 feet. And drop your bow anchor and drift back to where you want to fish, drop another anchor off the stern that will keep your boat steady so you can see the bites. Some guys like to use their kicker motor to keep them in one spot comma but that's a lot of work. I have a crab pot puller that I used to pull the back anchor when I get a fish on. Good luck and give it another try.

Just curious, what caused the tire/ hub to come off? I have the exact same trailer and have had a hard time finding anybody that will service the wheel bearing. Everybody says they are a "wet bearing" and don't require servicing, I find this hard to believe. Thanks Good Luck and Stay Safe

Thanks for the advice sick fishhead. Really want to try again. I think that just like any mechanical device the bering just failed. If your concerned just check them for play by grabbing the tire and giving it a good shimmy. If it's clicking find a les schwabs or any other shop and show them the play.
