Fort Spokane was closed, so we headed up to Hunters to put in. Water was very low, but a lot clearer than down south. Got on the water about 9 a.m. Tried a multitude of jigs and got nothing. Headed north about a mile from hunters and tried bottom walkers on the opposite side from the boat launch right here the depth starts to increase (into the actual river channel) Had a little bit of luck with slow death rigs. Silver with a green blade on one, and gold for the other. Nothing else seemed to work. Caught 6 Walleye medium in size and one Burbot. Beautiful weather, VERY few boats. It was a little windy, but not enough to inhibit our day! Trolled right about 1 mph 40-60 ft of water.(that's where we caught them anyway)

Thanks for the info, we went Friday tried jigs where I usually catch them this time of year (walleye)nothing but a few burbot. As the water warms and the runoff slows I expect better fishing. Good luck, keep us informed.
