My uncle Stacey and I went to Lower Granite for the weekend. All I can say is wow. In less than 10 minutes Stacey caught a 50inch Sturgeon. That was all for the first day but we had alot of bites we just couldn't hook them. Friday was my day it started off bite after bite after bite, but once again I couldn't set the hook. Around 12:30 I had a monster bite. I set the hook and here we go. Right off the bat it jumps and I'm in shock, after it jump it starts pulling line like crazy. At one point I have less than 50 yards of line left.So I tighten my drag hoping he wont spool me. I got him in after a hour and 15 minutes, the best fight of my life. He was 9ft long and had to be over 4 hundered pounds. My very first Sturgeon. The rest of the weekend was slow with a few bites but no hook ups. Still all in all a very exciting weekend.
