Fly fished Mill Lake in Abbotsford, BC for some of the recently stocked rainbows they put in at the beginning of the month. Tried dark woolly buggers just under the surface and caught two nice 10-12" planters. They put on some acrobatics, leaping out of the water pretty much for the entire fight. My fishing license for BC expired this weekend and since wife is moving down here soon, this might be the last time I get to fish Mill Lake. Some good memories on this lake. From hordes of sunfish/crappie catches, largemouth bass and my largest rainbow yet a year ago in February, a brood from 2012 that was 25" long and 6lbs! Best of all, my wife and would talk and walk around this lake when we were first dating. My wife and fishing, I was able to spend quality time with the two loves of my life. Fortunately, I saved the best one for a keeper. :) Tight Lines guys. Thank you Canadian fisheries for the great memories. -LOTF
