Fished horn lake last night and my son caught a 4.5 lb bow. It was his biggest fish ever (he is 11) and he was pretty excited. Went back to cochin this morning to try to catch one of the lunkers that was on my fishfinder. Trolling for about an hour with just one bite with a #2 blue fox yellow. Bam rod goes down like crazy and the fight is on. He went on a big run early and then brought him close to boat. Then he saw the boat and dove down 5 or 6 times. It felt like he was going to pull my medium light shimano 6' rod out of my hands. Finally netted him and was pumped. Got the scale and he was 7lb. Very thick through the shoulders. Took a pic and let him go get bigger.

On the way back caught a 4lb that put up a fight too. These wild trout are crafty. Had 6 to 8 bites but could only hook two. On too nimpo lake and kappan.
