Went for a quick morning of fishing today, i was hoping for a bunch of chum but upon arrival saw that the sun has mostly set on this years chum run. I did catch 4 dirty old chum on a pink/white jig 20" under a float with my centerpin. I diverted my attention to coho instead. After shifting focus i started seeking out froggy side water and found the coho pretty stacked up, i could see them pretty well stacked up in a few pockets, most of them looked pretty red though, and i knew the action wouldnt be great. I ended up going 2/4 before these couple fish bearing pockets went stale. Feeling dejected by the slow action i lost interest around noon. It wasnt hot action, but not too bad though, had some fun caught some fish. The coho were caught on blue fox spinners.
