The Glen Rose party came out to fish with Jeff again. This time they targeted Kokanee along with the Derby gang that was on Chelan. Depths varied from 20' to 150' depending on what the sonar was telling us. Mack's Lures Double D dodgers in chrome and chrome scale with 14" leaders to Mack's mini cha cha's in orange and pink baited with shoepeg corn saturated with Pro Cure's Bloody Tuna worked! Speeds of 1mph =/- .2 produced the most bites.

Mike, Sarah and Hanna Kersey brought 15 year old Garett Vyborny out to fish for Macks. We pounded Colyar ledge for Garett's 13# fish and a few others with T4 Purple glow flatfish worked at 1.2 mph within 5 feet of the bottom in depths at 240 to 318 feet deep. The bite died so we moved into Manson Bay and worked Jeff drifts baited with a triangle of Pikeminnow at the same speed and range in depths of 165 to 210 feet deep. Hanna was out for her 18th birthday and was much less squeamish than Garret when it came to handling the fish...
