Munden's Rising Son Adventures finished the Lower Columbia Spring Salmon season with a bang! In two days of fishing we were able to battle 13 fish and put 8 in the box! A few wild releases and a few more short bites made for some pretty hot action on the water! Our go to rig was an inline triangle flasher, 6-8 oz of lead, and a herring downstream trolling in 12-20 foot of water. The fish seem to be stuck below Bonneville, but the action indicated that we have decent numbers! Hopefully this week water flow drops and these fish start moving over the dam! When they do, I will be focusing on the Gorge in the Hood River area, fishing tributaries such as Drano Lake and the Wind River.
This Saturday starts my season there and I have 2 open seats if you want to learn these fisheries. Fishing may not be red hot yet, but there are reports of a few fish being caught, so we will give it a try!
Give me a call if interested at all in these fisheries. Like I said, the boat has t20 seats Saturday and a few others in the coming weeks! I also work very closely with 2 other boats in the area to get you on the river! Contact me and we will get you set up!
Here are some highlights of these chrome beauties!
