Hit Terrell at 645am with a few boats out already. My friend and I each got 3 lbers before we made it to the other pubic dock on 6in senkos. Then he got one near the island and I started to catch quite a few in the Lilly pads. I got 2 smaller ones on a spinner bait then a few others on a 6in white senko. I wanted to leave but my friend wanted to hit the south side a bit. Spent about another 45 min out there and I got back to back 3 lbers at the woodpile island and my friend got one more fish. Weightless senkos did the trick today. No mosters but cant complain! A total of around a dozen fish between the 2 of us. Off the water by 1pm.

Great going. The pads aren't up on the lake I fish, but they are getting nice and green sitting on the bottom. They'll grow up next month.

Man what a sweet day on the lake! I need to make it up to Terrell. I just took a Cabelas run today, got just about everything I need for bassing this spring. I am also picking up a Lews Tournament reel and a sweet Duckett rod from Yeagers this week. I'm surprised Terrell has pads already too, it must be warming up a bit faster than I thought.

Yeah it's shallow so it warms up and cools down quicker than most lakes.
Also fyi I put the fish next to my boot for size reference. Those are size 12 wader boots
