Launched at 7 30 this morning at the WDFW launch. Took my cousins son (16 yr old) with and went directly out in front of the island and started trolling wedding rings with pop gear. Went out 26 ft on the counter with a 3 oz banana weight in front of the pop gear. We picked up many hits first thing but were unable to keep the fish on the hook. Finally put in rubber snubbers and the fish hauling began! Caught a couple of trout then two kokes in a row. Put the Downrigger in and ran a wedding ring with a pink hootchie down to 13 ft and caught another koke, the biggest of the day at 13 inches. More trout and and then a lull for a bit. Finally hauled in our last koke at noon and picked up and went home. Great day with a dedicated fisherman!

Edit, after cleaning my half of the fish and filleting them I realized I only had one kokanee in my batch. Haven't talked to Payton yet but I am thinking we only got one koke and 9 rainbows. My bad guys.... sorry

Lol. I thought i was going crazy thinking, "the top left one looks like a koke, but the rest sure look like trout to me!"
