Headed to Lost Lake after work and was on the water about 4pm. I noticed very little water activity coming from the Rainbow's and in fact less and less each trip there.
Hung down around the fair left side of the lake from the launch. Got into some trout from time to time but I felt it was very slow compared to a month ago. I ended up with 11, but it took a whole lot of work.
Switched to a Mini Trout Magnet over the standard size and it seemed to help some.
I last reported of an otter spotting, but a few folks are looking telling me that it is a Beaver instead which might explain the very loud noise that I heard coming from the splash it made. It did sorta had a sound like a beaver tail hitting the water to it.
