Headed down to Lake Washington to target cutthroat trout. Launched a Coulon and started fishing south of Rainier Beach along the buoy line headed towards the Atlantic St boat ramp. Trolled towards the south end of Seward Park and picked up a 16" cutthroat on our line with a 5oz. weight on it out about 80 feet. Hard to tell how deep we were with that line, but the fish jumped almost immediately after taking out lure. We had the other 2 lines on downriggers but got no action on them at all. We were using a needlefish and that ended being the only fish of the day. The trolling motor refused to keep running so we headed in about 1pm after fishing for 3 hours. Beautiful day, a little too much sun, no wind and a great day just to be out with the boys.
