I had planned on being at the launch by 7am but I woke and saw that the temperature was 39 Therefore plan B was formed when it would be a little warmer. Which turned out to be a pleasant sunny morning. It was breezing most of the time I was there. I left at 12:30.

I was on the lake at 8:30. The big motor got me over to little Nisqually and through the gate. The water temp was 62. I didn’t see any fish and I didn’t think I had any bites but when I got home I saw that I was wrong. Although there weren’t many follows I had one on I didn’t know about. See video.
I found some biters mostly in 50-70 foot of water 17-22 feet on the downriggers.I caught them from just before 11 to 12:30. Had a few fall off since I didn’t use my net.
From the Alder Lake campground moorage to the south side of the launch. The water here was 64 degrees.
It is amazing watching the video how these fish bite! Came home with a cutthroat limit and 1 kokanee. They were 9.5-10 inches I caught these on dodger pattern Chrome Clown with a green spinner and Pink Splatter with a lure I made a year or so ago.

Nice video. you must of made a sharp turn to run your lines that close? That trout hammered it anyway that was funny, glad you did well that koke looks nice.

Yes. One of them, when I first watched it, startled me and I jumped. Only the kokanee is hatchery.

Ive started using snap weights for fishing kokes down to 50 ft and my hook up count has gotten much better versus the downriggers.
