Hello All,

Another great day on the Swift. Same rig as last time, dipsy diver, wobbler, and hoochie. Still never left the channel just passed the launch. Can do 12 to 14 inch rainbows all day long. Only this time there was a bit of a surprise. Dipsy's (at least the small one) doesnt have a release so it seems like your hauling in much bigger fish than whats on there... but I thought I was snagged for a bit. After a few minutes of tug-of -war had a nice bull trout at the side of the boat. Normally id let them just shake off at the boat but this guy inhaled the hoochie and was hooked way too good. Decided to bring him in for a quick fix and took a pic while we were at it. Took off with a huge tail kick and my son's eyes were never so big.

Decided to head down to Merwin and see if there were still some kokanee swimming in the top 15' of water. No luck, as I am a terrible kokanee fisherman. But, my son brought in 2 really nice rainbow. Only around 14 inches but fat. Decided to post pics this time. Hope everyone gets out and enjoys.

Jasper
