6/19/2017 11:50:54 AMi was out at des moines saturday, didn't even see one dungeness. kept 5 red rocks :P guess they haven't migrated down there yet. I did hook a dogfish too though, was pretty cool. Where did you fish from in Seahurst?

6/19/2017 12:48:07 PMI have a folding boat. I set it up almost right in front of the playground and went straight out 3-400 yards. I was using a $17 crappy collapsible fishing pole (something I wouldn't care about if my 3.5 yr old messed it up/dropped overboard). I was not prepared for the idea that I could catch a shark on it.... The kid definitely enjoyed it. All afternoon - We caught a shark, we caught a shark!
