First time on Sammamish, so inexperience may be a factor in rating. However, talking to several on the launch only a few here and there as well.

Brought a couple into the boat ( 12 - 14") and released. Had four or five others that I donated some night crawlers too while trolling. Was using a silver Dodger and a Mack's double whammy (red) with a silver blade. Tried a few other colors and red was the most active. Was using a night crawler and did not have any smelly stuff with me, so a natural.

Not familiar with the lake so stayed in the bay along with another 4 or 5 boats right off the boat launch. Did run up north and there were another 4 or 5 boats around the buoy.

Line was in the water at 7:45am and left around 11:00am.

Downrigger was set at 25 - 30ft and columns of fish could be seen 20 - 40 ft.

If anyone has additional advice on spot on the lake or tackle please comment as this will hopefully become more of a home lake.

Everything looks right to me man! I fished yesterday as well but I fished up north. We got 2 limits of fish up there. I used the same gear as you, red rocked. .. I guess sometimes you just get lucky, and yesterday was one of those days for me.

Had a couple buddies on the water as well yesterday and they fished the south end in their respective vesselsg. One got 2 and the other only 1 Fishing the exact same way as you

Thank you for the comment. Gives me a little more confidence in the setup. Heading back out there on Wed morning, will see how it goes.
