What a great camping/fishing trip with my dad, brother and our sons. 3 generations on the boat. It took us a bit to find some big fish but we figured it out. 50-90 feet deep and the riggers set at 30-45 feet. Caught all the fish on a custom white marabou fly and a wiggle hoochie in pink/clear. Most fish were 16-19" and fat. Troll speed varied from 1.5 to 2.05 mph. Fished the west end of the lake near the dam.

The fish were clean. Not a parasite to be found.

Did you launch at Mossyrock?? How was the launch? I was thinking about getting down there with my 17' bayliner.

There are two lanes open and it is bumpy backing down that long ramp. I saw one truck that almost got stuck trying to pull his boat out. I think he needs new tires now after he burned rubber up the entire ramp.

right on... i have 4 wheel drive and the boat is light so hopefully shouldn't be an issue. Riffe is a long time favorite, it is worth it if i can get the boat on the water. thanks for the reply!

Really good report - especially with family on board. Were you near the dam?
