Fished Sunday the 31st of July from 5PM to after dark. Only one 10" Rainbow to show for it, ran downriggers with rapalas and U20's for Macks, lost two downrigger balls and fought with the massive amounts of weeds that had been kicked loose by all the boat traffic. Fish and Game could have a hay-day giving out "Boating while Intoxicated" citations on this lake. Wont go back until the water so cold it will sober some folks up who accidentally fall in. Loon Lake is dangerous right now (due to the drunk boaters)even the jetskiis wont give you enough room to feel safe on the lake. We had a ski boat cut doughnuts around us for five full minutes while we were trolling, apparently they thought lake was private property, unfortunately they were going fast enough I couldn't get a license number to turn them in. Too many people out having fun at everyone else's expense.
