We were the first boat checked by AIS Friday morning and hit the water just before 6am. Within 10 minutes of lines down we had 2 fish boated and we were high fiving thinking we were about to have a stellar day. Well, things slowed down a lot after that, missed some bites, lost one at the net, and caught every other species in the lake (suckers, perch, cutthroats, catfish). We ended up with 4 in the cooler, which was a dissappointing trip, but it was still a beautiful and calm day on the lake, so no harm done.
Nearly all Kokes came on a pink minihoochie with beads ans some yarn trailers. Also got a lot of hits, on a blue and a gold 50/50 elgin spoons rigged for kokanee, but after catching a couple of perch on one of them i have a feeling most of those bites werent kokanee. Looks like our next trip we will be shooting to be on the water earlier
