Wow. The pattern hasn't changed for me. Casting green pumpkinseed curly tails with 1/4 oz jigs or green pumpkinseed crawtails with 1/4 football heads. Plus half a night crawler for additional strikes. Fish current eddy pockets with a steady drop off of rocks. Walleyes on three casts in a row- smallies up to 3lbs. Even caught a massive crawdad. I think it thought it found a mate.

I tried trolling. It was useless. Cast, let it sink to the bottom and bounce it down the drop offs. It's too easy, could limit in an hour. All fish C&R.

Did the fish spit up anything? Could the walleyes be eating baby crayfish?
