Launched my float tube and went rifht off the launch. Extremely weedy in the lagoon so I went up the right side. Caught a lot of small bluegill and small bass but about halfway down I hooked I to a 5 lb lmb, fought him for a few minutes until he wrapped on a branch and broke me off. I was using a #3 floating rapala, black back with a white bottom, which I'm sure he still has in his mouth. Ill respool and head back there soon and go left. Took me about 2-1/2 hours to get down the right side to almost straight across from the launch. Took me about 30 minutes to get back..and the ride back was extremely weedy. Hate having stuff on my legs but that 1 bass is worth me heading back to find more. Other than the weeds the lake is great for bass and had great overhanging trees and structure. Tight lines!
