We did it again--- I fished with monofilament line equipped with half-a-ton of weights (not really, but they sure bent the pole!) and the now-legendary wedding ring; my neighbor elected to fish with leaded line, going down 4 colors. We did the deep-fishing exercise again, and had good luck---especially off to the left of the boat launch, towards the power lines stretched across the lake... That Osprey in the nest of one of the power poles kept screeching at us (probably being a back-seat FISHERMAN). My neighbor caught his limit in 12"-14" cutthroat trout; I caught...er...SOME fish that length, but a lot of small cutthroat couldn't keep their mouths shut on my offering, either... Those little rascals would tap on, then shake off (thank GOODNESS!) A real pretty morning at Badger Lake, great fishing experiences, followed by a necessary trip to the "Little Korea" huts...
