This trip lasted 90 minutes as that was what I could get out of my batteries with the wind and after fishing all morning on another lake. I pretty much stuck to the pilings that extend out from the launch, although I did motor to a couple other spots, pretty much all the action came from the pilings aside from one bite I didn't hook at piling point.

I launched on the gravel side and flipped the pads out and curved back to the pilings getting zero interest along the way. Once at the pilings I flipped a Rage Craw in and got a nibble but the fish was too small to hook. Next cast and felt a thunk, set the hook and it was a better fish, it released itself at the boat but was 3-3.5 anyways. I fished both sides of these pilings twice with the Rage Craw, then a jig and finally a Wacky Senko, I caught 4 total with all being the same size as what's in the one pic.

Water was pretty stain free, totally algae free and I wish I had enough battery to stay until dark!

We were at Beaver from 5-9:30PM the same day. Haven't hit an evening fishery for awhile and were looking for a nice fish just before dark. Didn't happen. 2 small bass were all we found with a complete circumnavigation of the lake. What was rather strange for the evening hour was that there were no trout or crappie rising/feeding anywhere. No ospreys, and one lone eagle did a fly-by. We did see several muskrats swimming about doing whatever muskrats do, to provide the wildlife viewing for the evening. Nice time on the lake, however.
