Headed to Lake Stevens to search for some kokanee and didn't want to stay out a long time as it gets hot in my boat. Started fishing at
6:30 am and God blessed with 5 fish by 8:15 am plus some nice take downs that did not stick. The bite then stopped for me and I stayed a bit longer then headed out. The patterns used today were the 50/50 gold and 50/50 blue kokanee trolling rigs available at Reli Lures. I also used Arrow Flash dodgers with 13" leaders. Corn used was the orange corn recipe by Sam Baird. Fish were caught at 52' to 57' deep. Don't have speedometer but guessed speed was 1.2 mph. Met a couple of nice gentlemen who mentioned they started at 5:30 am and the bite was hot until 6:30 am. Seems like I caught the tale end of the good bite.
The video below shows some action for the day and I am also including a video on how to rig the God's Tooth spoons. Wishing all tight lines!
