Got on the water about 7:30am after learning the main road (Meridean?) was shut down due to construction. Luckily my buddy (Jim) grew up in the area and new an alternative route... don't ask me how we got there though! Got on the lake trolling wedding ring with worm combination behind flashers and a small sinker. Seems to be a good combination. About 30 pulls from the boat in the morning and up to 60-70 pulls out as the day began to heat up and the fish sought out cooler waters... good consistent bites all day, though the fish are very small. That bald eagle was directly overhead most of the day, even grabbed a trout only 10 yards from the boat. Incredible experience to see that bird so close! Headed back to shore when those waterskier's began buzzing us, don't think they liked me trolling through the middle of the lake. :-) Great day of fishing!
